Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary surrounds the historic Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajsamand, Rajasthan.

It covers an area of approximately 610.5 sq km across Rajsamand, Udaipur, and Pali districts.

The sanctuary spans four hill ranges of the Aravalli: Kumbhalgarh, Sadri, Desuri, and Bokhada.

The terrain varies from hills and piedmont to plains, with mostly sandy loam soils.

It is a rich habitat for Indian wolves, leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, golden jackals, jungle cats, and a variety of herbivores like sambar, nilgai, chausingha, and chinkara.

Kumbhalgarh has over 200 bird species, with the grey junglefowl commonly seen.

Popular activities include jeep safaris, trekking, and horseback rides through the sanctuary.
